The holidays are a stressful time for everyone. Child visitation schedule issues can only add to the complications and stress. To reduce possible issues and controversies it may be a good idea to take out your visitation order, your diaries/calendars from previous years, your current calendar and make sure you have a handle on your schedule and events planned. Also, confirm expectations with your former spouse, your children's grandparents and your children with regard to all schedules, possible conflicts and special events your child may have arranged but forgot to tell you about. Over communication is almost necessary; but will save you from unnecessary stress aggravation and enable all to enjoy the holiday season.
